this summer that was

hello, after I was supposed to post everyday cause I was on vacation and apparently did nothing, well I didn´t post at all, but it was a fun summer, not as before, or as last year or the year before, but it was fun to discovered that I really like clothes and creating looks, even when I only wear them on really important days. Also I found out my great communication with my dog LoL, I got back to sports as I was on high school, I became fan of the bubble tea house, and more, much more. I came up with the idea that when you are doing something inside a box, we don´t really pay attention to other stuff and at vacation, when you travel, stay with other people and have a lot to think about is when you grow up for better: keeping healthy is the key, always with as smile, trying stuff you thought you never do and living. Anyway I want to say "thank you" to all the people who make my summer an unforgettable summer. 

Yellow!, despues de que se suponía que tenía que postear millon por estar de vacaciones, aparentemente no hice nada; bien pero fué un verano divertido, no como antes, como el año pasado o antes de ese, pero si, fue divertido descubrir que realmente me gusta la ropa y crear looks, incluso cuando solo los uso en días muy importantes. Tambien encontre la buena comunicación que tengo con mi perra (Tonka), regrese al deporteismo así como lo hacia en prepa y me volví mega fan del bobba tea y más, mil más. Se vino a la cabeza de que realmente cuando estas encerrada en una caja haciendo lo mismo realmente no te das cuenta de lo que pasa al rededor como lo ver en vacaciones, más cuando viajas, estas con otras personas y tienes mucho en que pensar, claro, crecemos para mejor. Estar saludable es la clave, siempre con una sonrisa, haciendo nuevas cosas que nunca habias hecho y viviendo. Como sea doy gracias a todos lo que hicieron de este verano, un verano inolvidable. 

A room of my own

Over the years, I been changing my room from style to style, trying to find myself in it and feel like a space of mine, where I can be and I can share; well I found this cool site where you can create your inspirational looks, designs, sets and more and now I declare myself as a huge fan. A room of my own was my 3rd set and its very close to the appearance of my actual room, but the important thing here is that you can express an idea based on stuff you found at any store (most of them) or something very close to it. You should try this and find out how much can you imagine with your closet, with your furniture and accessories. 

A través de los años me eh encontrado cambiando mi pieza de estilo en estilo, tratando de encontrarme yo y mi estilo, un lugar para mi, donde pueda estar y donde pueda compartir; bueno encontré este sitio padrísimo donde puedes crear espacios, looks, sets y otros que te inspiran o de los que te inspiras, con esto me volví mega fan. “Room of my own” fue mi tercer creación y es realmente un set que está muy cercano a lo que es mi pieza hoy en día, pero lo importante aquí es que puedes expresar una idea basada en cosas que tienes o que puede encontrar en cualquier tienda (o casi todas) o muy parecidas. Deberías darte una vuelta y experimentar con lo mucho que puedes crear con lo que está en tu closet, tus muebles o tus accesorios.

Well well well all of you, haven´t been around lately, but!, here I’m, back with more. First, I got this really cool app that I had recommended before here, it’s about fashion and what to wear and what not to wear. I found it very useful and 100% addictive, and even when my iphone die last month, I try to keep up with new outfits. And as I use it for a very short time, they published me! so am very proud of me :D here is the link so you can see, real people, real outfits, wearable comfy but cool and read about what they think about trendy styles this days.

Which take me to another important event that happened in this days that I was gone. My sister´s first book.

It’s cool as hell, yeah, so colorful, put kids to think about their surroundings and perfectly practical, for anytime, all drawings are handmade and its inspired on Mexico City sightseeing that child can identify. I feel so proud of my sister, mostly cause she got a bunch of little fans, no more that 1.50cm high asking for a sign on their books, shouting and running as crazy, but also cause she is part of my inspiration.

Buenooo hola todos de Nuevo, no había estado acá por un buen tiempo, pero equis, ya regrese y con todo. Primero que nada ya les había recomendado una app para iphone, que también está en internet en la que suben su outfit del día y la gente vota si te lo pones o no y si, la encontré bastante practica, útil y adictiva, incluso cuando mi teléfono murió el mes pasado trato de seguir usándola con nuevos looks. Y si, tenía poco usándola cuando su blog me publico! Así que me siento bien orgullosa de mi caray! Acá les dejo el link (pícale!) y verán gente real con ropa real, totalmente usable, cómoda pero coqueta y padre y pues lean que pusieron de mi y también paséense por las nuevas tendencias y lo que la gente está usando.

 Lo que me lleva a otro importante evento que paso mientras yo no estaba acá. La publicación del primer libro de mi hermana. Esta bien bien cool, muy colorido, pone a los niños a pensar en lo que los rodea, es muy practico, para cualquier ocasión, los dibujos son hechos a mano y está inspirado en algunos lugares conocidos de la Ciudad de México para que los lectorcillos los traten de ubicar. No saben lo orgullosa que me siento de mi hermana y la emoción que sentí al ver que tenia a un montón de fans de menos de 1.50m pidiendo que le autografiaran su libro, corriendo como maniacos, aparte de que es una de las personas que más me inspiran... así que les dejo el link a  Amarillo Editores Online para que vean que más nos ofrecen y para que le den un and follow en Su Blog

Design Commitment

Hey again, well me as an interior architect I love to be around stuff of real design, and proudly I must say that I have been teach to search for it and be thankful for it. Recently I was looking, for you know, advertisement that can make an impact inside a place, a reminder, something that really looks great but also informate you about our actual situation in our world, things to worry about as the global warming and all the water waste things, that we want to change but we forget to do, and I came up to this guys. Hu2 a real deal in London. These guys have created an awsome vinyl adhesive that make that: conscious in people at the time they use something. How great?!! + They are not only "eco" on the designs, they are also in materials, packaging, commitment with environment and because of that they have won awards... how sweet? All the materials using in their products are 100% recyclable, packaging made of recycled paper and vegetable ink and they are members of the WWF in UK. This and other things made me decide that ... They rock, and that we should purchase their design,(not copy please)  their hard work and their creativity and most important, to use this, cause it really helps, it really saves and it really make your brain do things that it would not normally do if it is not by a reminder. Here a lil bit of it.... 

Hola de nuevo, pues como arquitecta interior me encanta estar rodeada de cosas de verdadero diseño, y estoy orgullosa de decir que me han enseñado a buscarlas, verlas y estar agradecida por ello. Hace poco estaba así viendo ya saben, carteles que crearan un impacto dentro de un lugar, un recordatorio, algo que se viera bien pero que también te informara de nuestra situación actual en el mundo, cosas que nos preocupan como el calentamiento global, el desperdicio de agua,  que queremos cambiar pero que se nos olvida, y llegue a estos personajes. Hu2 desde Londres. Estos artistas han creado un vinyl adhesivo excelente que crea: conciencia en las personas al mismo tiempo que usan lo cotidiano. ¿a si, o mejor? + No son solo “eco” en lo que dicen en sus diseños, sin que también en los materiales, en sus cajitas y que están realmente comprometidos con el ambiente y que por eso se han ganado algunos premiecillos…. Qué bonito caray! Todos sus materiales son 100% reciclables, sus empaques hechos de materiales reciclados y con tinta vegetal y son miembros de WWF . En Reino Unido. Por eso y más decidí que Rockean! Y que todos deberían comprarles su diseño (no copiar), su trabajo duro y la creatividad, y lo más importante: usarlos; porque realmente ayuda, ahorra y hace que tu cerebrito recuerde cosas que normalmente no haría o hace una semana y luego ya no, un recordatorio. what about a low cost office? searching for good design and beeing ecofriendly? well..... we have the right answer... from MostArchitecture the temporary office for Brand Base in Amsterdam, made of wood bases, yeah, those that you can find at any big shop like costco or at factory. Well done Most Architecture, you are now in my list of rocking architecture! hell yeah, well for more information you can go to their facebook and "like it" (them)

 les lateria una oficina de bajo costo? de buen diseño y amigable con el ambiente? a pues... tenemos la respuesta correcta a esa duda... de MostArchitecture para Amsterdam las oficinas para Brand Base. Hecha de nada mas y nada menos que de tarimas de madera, si, esas que vemos en tiendotas como Costco o en fabricas, nice no? pues si, bien hecho Most Architecture, ahora estan en mi lista de despachos arquitectonicos que rockean, hell yeah!! pero para info mas detallada pues dense una vuelta por su facebook y denle "like it"
